The start of another year and BSGconnect is going strong. I do not take pictures at everything we do anymore. Just the special events. But we are busy throughout the month. If you want a closer look at the photos, click them once.

St Patrick Day's Party hosted by our very own Irish lass Fionula.
The young lady with the hat and the young man cutting corned beef areĀ  2 of Fionula's children. Fionula was a great hostess. I was so proud of her. I know how far she has come in her grief journey.

June 2: Great trip to Essex Connecticut on a Lakeland Bus Tour . Seven of us went on the trip. We had lunch at the Griswold Inn, one of the oldest continuously operated inns in the country. It opened its doors in 1776. Nice old world charm. Food was very good. Walked a bit in town. Back on the bus to the train depot. We boarded the Essex Steam Train and had a fun ride. Charlie wanted to shove the coal into the engine but they wouldn't let him. Then we boarded the Riverboat for a scenic ride on the Connecticut River. All in all a great time!

July 2: Great Trip to Bushkills Falls in PA. June, Anita, Diana R, Margaret, Peter and yours truly made the trip. We had great weather. We had a nice lunch on the picnic table: Sub sandwiches, June made potato salad and Diana made tuna macaroni salad. The walk by the falls was great. June and Anita didn't come as there were a lot of steps. Those two wandered around the exhibits and shops. Then Anita and I went out on the paddle boat. The others played a game of miniature golf under the trees. We finished the day with dinner at Yetter's Diner. Great!

July 8: Dinner with Dolly. 7 of us headed up to the Victoria Diner on Route 206 Branchville to support one of our members, Dolly. Lots of laughs as usual.
